WCF Bengal Standard
Domestic cat, which has the characteristic appearance of small forest cats, but with a delicate, balanced character of domestic cats. By physique, bengals look like wild. Medium to large, cats are significantly larger than cats. The average weight of a cat is from 7 to 7.5 kg, but larger individuals are also found. Very muscular, in the croup higher than at the withers, with a glossy silky coat.
HEAD: A massive skull, slightly longer than wide, with rounded contours and a powerful, wide muzzle. Large nose and eye-catching barbs. Profile with easy transition.
NECK: The neck is long, powerful.
EARS: Small to medium size, wide set, slightly inclined forward, with rounded tips and a spot of wild color.
EYES: Large, oval. Set wide, at a slight angle. We allow any color except blue and aquamarine for tabby colors, for snow bengal (force link) – only pure intense blue.
BODY: From medium to large, muscular, somewhat stretched, strong. The limbs are of medium length, also strong and muscular. The legs are large, round, the hind legs are elongated, lifting the body.
TAIL: Tail of medium length, thick, with a rounded tip. The tail tip is necessarily dark in color.
COAT: Short, thick, shiny, silky.
COLOR: Clear, contrasting black or brown pattern, spotted or special marble (marble), on a golden-orange background.
Snow Bengal (Seal Link) is a colorpoint. Points have the same color as traditional bengals. The case is slightly lighter, but, unlike other colorpoints, has a hue and pattern that matches the color of the points. For non-specialists, a snow bengal is not like a colorpoint.
The following colors are recognized: brown-tabby-spotted (brown (black) spotted tabby), brown-tabby-marbled (brown (black) tabby marble), sil-sepia-spotted (seal sepia spotted tabby), sil-sepia-marble ( seal sepia marble tabby), sil-mink-spotted (seal mink marble tabby), sil-mink-marble (seal mink marble tabby), sil-link-point-spotted (seal spotted lynx-point) and sil-lynx point – marble (seal marble lynx-point).
